2009-2010 Seasons
This past year was a great one for Lincoln Swimming.
The girls' team started this past fall off on the right foot, dropping their times through out the season, and sending six girls to the state meet in Marshalltown.
The boys' team continued to take steps in the rebuilding of their own team in 2009-10. They added seven swimmers, growing the team from 11 to 18 in one season. They also were represented in the state meet 5 times this past season, a great jump from 3 the previous year. Hunter Hofmaier broke the Lincoln 100 back record, with a time of 57.00 respectively, and Luis Arias got his Sub :50 shirt at the district meet, posting a :49 second 100 free.
The Summer and Winter Club Season started off great with a record number of team members for the Lincoln Summer and Winter sessions. The parents and coaches could not have been more proud as the Lincoln Team had its most successful Club Season yet and hope to continue it again this winter.
